JOYNEXT supports young talent of the Dresdner Eislöwen

Dresden. The automotive electronics specialist JOYNEXT is expanding its commitment to the Dresdner Eislöwen ice hockey club. With a donation of 2,500 Euro the junior teams of the Eislöwen will be supported. The money comes at the right time, as both the U15 and U17 teams of the Eislöwen are performing excellently in the fight for the German championship.

The U15 team recently finished in an impressive 5th place at the final tournament in Düsseldorf. The U17 team is currently in an exciting best-of-five series against the Cologne Sharks. The junior teams continue to build on last year's performances. The young players between the ages of 13 and 16 achieved remarkable successes last season: the U17s finished 3rd in the German Championships, while the U15s were runners-up in the German Ice Hockey Championships. The U17s are currently ranked among the top 4 teams in the country.

The donation will be used to cover the high operating costs of the game, especially during the playoffs. The playoff series results in high short-term hotel and travel costs, especially for away games. “Our financial support enables us to cover these costs and thus makes an important contribution to the development of young talent,” says Stavros Mitrakis, CEO of JOYNEXT GmbH.
