Joyson Electronics Reinforces Software Business with a Cooperation Between Its Subsidiary and Elektrobit
On July 11th, Joyson Electronics announced that it has established a software company, NESINEXT, to strengthen its software business, focusing on providing professional and efficient software development tools and services for the global automotive industry and enabling efficiency in mobility technology.
At the launch event, NESINEXT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Elektrobit, an award-winning and visionary global vendor of embedded and connected software products and services for the automotive industry. The two parties will cooperate in software solutions & engineering services, jointly provide global-leading tailored solutions for automotive manufacturers and suppliers, and help clients accelerate the development of complex software architectures to promote the development of next-generation vehicle architecture and the autonomous driving industry.
In addition to harnessing the "hardware" R&D and mass production capabilities, Joyson Electronics constantly strengthens its "software" capabilities and seeks to build a hardware platform and achieve efficiency in software development. Since its software capabilities have been verified by the hardware products launched one after another, Joyson Electronics establishes a wholly-owned subsidiary “NESINEXT” to reinforce the software business. Currently, NESINEXT has launched five major product and service solutions, including HMI Solutions, Information & Communications Technology Solutions, Basic Software Solutions, Cockpit Solutions & Engineering Services and Intelligence User Operation Solutions.
Elektrobit, new partner of NESINEXT, is committed to providing embedded and connected software products and services for the automotive industry. With over 35 years of serving the automotive industry, Elektrobit’s software powers over 5 billion devices in more than 600 million vehicles.
Jacky Lu, CEO of NESINEXT, said: “AUTOSAR, middleware, development tools, and other software business innovation are increasingly important for the evolution of new electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture and the upgrade of autonomous driving modes. Our cooperation with Elektrobit is another important planning of Joyson Electronics in new business innovation following the recent launch of the first autonomous driving domain controller. In the future, by leveraging Elektrobit's AUTOSAR expertise and technology, we will continue to work with our partners to deepen ‘software-defined vehicles’ and promote the digital transformation of the industry, and continuously strengthen the synergies of 'software-hardware integration’ for automotive intelligence.”
Lujun Zou, General Manager of Elektrobit China, said, “We are glad to cooperate with NESINEXT to meet the growing demand for AUTOSAR solutions in China. This partnership will help clients develop reliable and efficient underlying software, accelerate the development of next-generation vehicles with advanced features, speed up time to market, and reduce overall costs to differentiate themselves from the competition.”
