JOYNEXT donates for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

A violent earthquake shook regions in Turkey as well as Syria in early February 2023. Thousands of people died or were left homeless. The bereaved mourn and fear further aftershocks, which continue to this day. At the same time, the victims do not know what to do after the disaster. They have lost their homes and are faced with huge piles of rubble. These people urgently need our help and a perspective. The automotive electronics company is running the fundraising campaign to contribute and give people hope.

JOYNEXT set up its own account for this purpose, collecting donations until Feb. 24, 2023. "Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference," says Stavros Mitrakis, CEO of JOYNEXT. Mitrakis adds "The sympathy and willingness to donate within the company was unwavering. We will increase the amount collected to 100.000 euros. With the donations, people in the affected regions can be provided with food, drinking water, an emergency shelter, warm clothing, hygiene products as well as urgently needed medicine, among other things.

"It's an incredible feeling to know that so many people are getting involved and caring for my fellow countrymen. The donations will help rebuild the communities in my country. I would like to thank each and every donor from the bottom of my heart," says Istanbul native, Nazan Ay, who has been with JOYNEXT for two years.

JOYNEXT hands over the donations to "Aktion Deutschland Hilft". The company has already cooperated with the alliance of German aid organizations in the past.
