Dresden (Germany). With the start of the new year, JOYNEXT Technology Corporation is reorganizing the responsibilities of its Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO). John Marcus, previously CTPO with global responsibility for technology and product development, is leaving the company by the end of the year.
John Marcus joined JOYNEXT from Luxoft, where he served as Head of Software Engineering as well as VP Engineering. At the end of the year, Marcus will leave JOYNEXT as a member of the Executive Board at his own request. The decision was made for personal reasons and by best mutual agreement. "John Marcus is a high-profile industry expert. He has played a decisive role at JOYNEXT in ensuring that we have consistently expanded our strong market position in a challenging market and competitive environment. We would like to thank John Marcus for the professional and trustful cooperation and wish him all the best for his upcoming professional tasks", say Kevin Liu, CEO and Stavros Mitrakis, Co-CEO of JOYNEXT.
John Marcus' portfolio of tasks will be taken over by the regional teams in Europe and China. This mainly concerns the areas of strategy and products as well as delivery management. The team will continue to drive digitization in the automotive sector and support JOYNEXT's customers in realizing a variety of new functions for a comfortable driving experience, as software will continue to gain importance.
