ASENSING and JOYNEXT Formed Deep Partnership to Accelerate Autonomous Driving and Embodied Intelligence
Recently, JOYNEXT has formed deep partnership with ASENSING, leader in space-time intelligence. Both parties will integrate high-precision positioning and attitude measurement solutions with the domain control to accelerate the large-scale mass production of L2+ to L4 autonomous driving solutions and simultaneously expand technologies into the field of embodied intelligence.

Large-scale deployment of advanced autonomous driving relies on in-depth collaboration between high-precision motion perception and domain control integration. Especially in complex driving environments such as urban canyons, tunnels and curved roads, the consistent delivery of continuous, reliable positioning and attitude data that meets functional safety standards ensures stable and robust system operation.
Leveraging its expertise in automotive-grade 6-axis MEMS inertial measurement chips, ASENSING has achieved mass production of full-stack space-time intelligence products, ranging from GNSS and IMU modules to system-level integration. It delivers real-time, high-precision, stable and trustworthy positioning and attitude data for intelligent mobility devices including vehicles and robots.
To further improve the autonomous driving perception system, both parties are advancing the integrated collaboration between short-range blind-spot LiDAR and positioning systems.
It enables real-time synergy between the short-range 3D sensing capability of blind-spot LiDAR and high-accuracy positioning data from IMU and GNSS. This eliminates visual blind spots around the vehicle, enhances perception redundancy in scenarios such as low-speed parking and narrow-road driving, and comprehensively improves the safety and reliability of the intelligent driving system.
In addition, ASENSING and JOYNEXT are jointly expanding the lightweight application of IMU technology in embodied intelligence. By transferring automotive-grade, high-reliability IMU sensing technology to robotic scenarios, the two parties will develop dedicated inertial perception solutions for embodied intelligence. This addresses key challenges in precise positioning and attitude control for robots during movements such as running, jumping and flipping, as well as human-machine interaction in complex indoor and outdoor environments with varied terrain and dynamic obstacles. It also improves the stability and safety of robot autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance and operational performance.
