JOYNEXT expands production capacity in Europe and strengthens delivery capabilities for OEMs

Dresden, Oborniki Śląskie (Poland). JOYNEXT has expanded its European production capacity and opened a new manufacturing facility at its Oborniki Śląskie site near Wrocław. The company is responding to the automotive industry’s growing demands for delivery reliability, shorter development cycles, and regional value creation. With this expansion, JOYNEXT has nearly doubled its on-site production area to approximately 26,000 square meters. The new facility covers a total of 13,300 square meters and reinforces the site’s role as a central manufacturing and logistics hub for the European market.

Capacity expansion for series production and growth

JOYNEXT's Oborniki Śląskie facility produces navigation, infotainment and telematics systems, as well as control units, for international automotive manufacturers. The additional capacity enables the production of multiple product lines for global deployment. This also includes series projects for a leading premium OEM in southern Germany. This underscores the increasing shift of sophisticated electronics manufacturing into European supply chains. More than seven million units are planned over the project’s duration. The expansion is taking place against the backdrop of increasing complexity in automotive electronics and growing demands for stable supply chains. Manufacturers expect shorter development cycles and reliable series production even under volatile conditions.

Proximity to the OEM and stable supply chains as a competitive advantage

With this expansion, JOYNEXT is strategically strengthening its presence in Europe and bringing manufacturing and development closer to the OEMs. Shorter distances and closer coordination enable faster industrialization and greater planning reliability. “For our customers in Europe, it is becoming increasingly critical how quickly new systems can be transferred to series production and how stable the supply chains are. Scalable production for volatile demand

The new manufacturing facility has a modular design and can be flexibly adapted to different production volumes and product requirements. This enables rapid scaling while maintaining consistently high quality. “Our production structure allows us to adjust capacities at short notice and bring new projects into series production quickly. This gives our customers the necessary flexibility in an increasingly dynamic market,” says Jefferson Fahner, COO of JOYNEXT. At this location, JOYNEXT consolidates key manufacturing steps for automotive electronics, from PCB assembly to final assembly and testing. The integrated processes support efficient and scalable series production.
