JOYNEXT at the Automotive Masterminds: Exciting solutions for future mobility

Dresden. JOYNEXT will present its portfolio on the topics of advanced driver assistance systems, UWB sensor technology and vehicle connectivity at this year's Automotive Masterminds conference in Berlin from May 5 to 6.

The Automotive Masterminds brings together key representatives from the automotive industry along the entire value chain: from OEMs to specialized suppliers. Noby Mathew, Director Products & Strategy at JOYNEXT GmbH, will give an insight into the software-defined vehicle (SDV) strategy of JOYNEXT on May 5. The conference has quickly established itself as a management event for the automotive industry. This year, more than 350 on-site participants are expected.

JOYNEXT at the Automotive Masterminds: ADAS and sensor solutions for more safety

One of the products the automotive electronics specialist will showcase is its Smart Camera. With it, JOYNEXT offers a complete solution that makes Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) accessible to small and compact vehicles, thanks to a convincing price architecture. As such, the product can help to improve road safety. The solution is optimized for geographically specific requirements: “The Smart Camera software can be easily adapted to dynamic conditions worldwide and can therefore be used in all markets,” explains Noby Mathew, Director Products & Strategy at JOYNEXT GmbH. The Smart Camera is both GSR2.0 and Eu/C-NCAP 5 Star certified.

In addition, JOYNEXT will present applications of ultra-wideband sensor technology that respond to everyday life. The company's digital key system and its sensor solution for reliably detecting children in the vehicle (Child Presence Detection) ensure greater safety in and around the car.

Future-proof vehicle connectivity for today's and tomorrow's mobility

JOYNEXT will also present technologies in the field of vehicle connectivity at Automotive Masterminds. With its “nGene 3E” module, the company is able to combine in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) technologies with a telematics control unit, thus reducing costs while maintaining the same level of functionality. JOYNEXT's product portfolio also includes attractive solutions for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. At the conference, the company will showcase its Flat Antenna, which features a remarkable integration of ten high-frequency interfaces.

On May 5, Noby Mathew will also provide exciting insights into new business models for the automotive industry beyond traditional vehicle manufacturing. In his talk, “Profitable SDV with revenue generation beyond the first user – Possible technology solutions,” he will show how software technologies can keep vehicles up to date and thus generate added value beyond the initial purchase.

This year's Automotive Masterminds will focus on the industry's future developments and opportunities, with an emphasis on the software revolution, autonomous driving, global value chains and sustainable competitiveness.
