JOYNEXT’s nZone Series Secure a Mass Production Order from a Renowned New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Brand, Accelerating the E/E Architecture Evolution

JOYNEXT recently achieved a new breakthrough by securing its first mass production order for nZone series (Body/Zonal Controller). Over the product lifecycle, our zonal controllers will be installed in over one million vehicles of a renowned Chinese NEV brand, with plans for rapid mass production starting in 2025.

Zonal controllers are a type of product designed in response to the evolving trend towards function-oriented domain-centric architecture and central computing architectures. It enables the integration and management of various functions within a vehicle's physical region. In addition to managing actuators and sensors, the zonal controllers can process data and images and transmit information to the central computing unit. This significantly reduces the complexity of the vehicle’s electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture, thereby improving the utilization of computational resources.
